Welcome to May Howard's Kids Heart Challenge Information Page. Formally known as Jump Rope for Heart. Here you can find all information needed for this years Event.
May Howard Elementary has been a Jump Rope for Heart, now Kids Heart Challenge participant since the American Heart Association began this event. May Howard has also always been one of the top donating schools in Georgia.
For this event May Howard strives for 100% participation from the Students and Staff. To participate in this event students must turn in a permission slip OR SIGN UP ONLINE prior to the event and raise at least $5.

HOW TO RAISE DONATIONS?
Students can create their own donation website online to raise money for Jump Rope for Heart. This is a much easier way to raise money. Students can send e-mails out to family and friends asking for donations. Please click the link below the video to set up your online donation page. You can also download a copy of the instructions to print off.

This year we are only raising donations online or in the form of a Check (made of to the American Heart Association). We will not take cash donations this year. I apologize for the inconvenience.

PICK UP KEYCHAINS:
If a student earns donations online, Mr. Sauers will be coming around every morning starting in February to give out the Heart Heroes. I only have the heart heroes to give out.

Please remember, all other thank you gifts will be ordered and given out in March.

If you are turning in a check, please send the check on February 20, 21st or 22nd. Please do not send early.

Teachers
Teachers are asked to please print out a copy of the map and schedule. Please make sure you take a look at where your class will begin and end prior to the day of Field Day. Without the homeroom teachers, Field Day would not be possible.
If you are a teacher volunteering at a station please download a copy of the schedule so you know where and when to be at your station. If you have any questions about what you are doing at your station, please see Mr. Sauers. Please also try to come to the gym as soon as possible on this day to get the equipment you will need. The kids thank you for making this day fun.
Class Room Teachers
I am not asking room moms to provide water this year. We will have 10 refill stations scattered through the field. Please remind your students to bring a water bottle. Thank you.
